Hi again and what a great time of year it is, as the sun starts to poke through a little more often and the days start to get longer. I can now really start to feel the business starting to blossom in line with our lovely countryside. Hopefully some of you will have seen Rick out and about on his travels as he has been on several practice runs for the forthcoming Cream Tea Express. As well as this he has also been travelling between some of the locations that we have in mind for our future full day tours. Rick is gaining huge popularity around the local area and indeed wherever he goes and has already been invited to support several fundraising events in the near future.
April has seen continued work with Cotswold District Council to complete the issuing of the private hire licence, given it’s a little bit away from the norm! Looking at where we are today, Rick looks like he will be given his private hire badge to proudly wear sometime in May. This will then give us the option of doing any kind of private hire function. This could be great timing if you haven't yet booked transport for your end of year school ball/prom.
It is with great pleasure that I can announce that as of 1st May 2017 we will be available to take wedding and civil partnership bookings. If all continues to go to plan and we get the private hire licence in May, then the website will be updated with confirmation that bookings will be taken for the Cream Tea Express. The website already has an explanation of what to expect on this fantastic and unique 3 hour tour which will include either a cream or high tea option. Prices will start from just £40 per person inclusive of the cream / high tea (minimum party of 4). The full price list and T&C’s will be added to the website for 1st May 2017 with bookings being taken soon after. Feel free to register interest by sending me an email.
During May, the next stages of the business will be confirmed. These are the full day tour and for one off specials to either the location of your choice or one of our many local attractions. The full day tours are still in the planning stage but we have an idea of the routes now. All I can say is that it’s going to be a lot of fun and we as a family have been out travelling around on some practice routes and just being out for 2 or 3 hours is exhilarating in the fresh air. The other amazing thing are the videos and selfies that you can take whilst on the move…. there is nothing else like it, these will be great memories for many years to come.
The other service I want to offer is bespoke trips. It may be someone’s birthday, anniversary, or you just want to do something special with the family. I am going to do a fixed price list of individual one way and return trips to some of the Cotswolds local attractions or any local location of your choice. So why not take the tuk instead of the taxi!
