Terms and Conditions for Private Hire & Special Events
Cotswold Tuk Tuk Tours (referred to as CTTT’s) aim is that you have a positive customer experience at every interaction. For the purpose of all trips booked as Private Hire we operate under the following terms and conditions:

At the time of booking a 50% deposit must be taken to confirm the booking. This fee is non-refundable and must be made by bank transfer or PayPal

When your initial 50% deposit is paid, it is with acceptance that you agree with and will adhere to all CTTT’s terms and conditions

For cancellation, if you advise CTTT’s in writing or e-mail prior to 7 days of the booked date then you will have the option to rebook another private hire within 28 days of the original booking. There is no option to cancel or amend after this rebooking option has been used

Full payment of the 50% balance is payable on the day in cash

If cancellation is less than 7 days of the booked date then all monies paid at that point are non-refundable

The Tuk Tuk is licenced to carry a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children (children must be aged between 4 years and 17 years of age)

CTTT's have public liability insurance for passenger and third parties, but customers belongings are carried entirely at their own risk and CTTT’s cannot be held responsible under any circumstances for any damage to or loss of persons property or the return of any properties left in the vehicle

No liability can be accepted by CTTT’s for clothing etc. being marked or dirtied in any way, howsoever caused or by any means during the duration of your journey

CTTT’s can without liability refuse to accept any booking without giving a reason

CTTT’s reserves the right to terminate any and all services to rude/abusive/intimidating clients. All monies are non-refundable in these circumstances

CTTT’s reserve the right to charge extra for bookings that take extra time beyond that paid for at the outset

The driver has the right to refuse any passenger or halt a journey if he feels there may be a threat to him/herself or the vehicle. All monies are non- refundable in these circumstances

The customer making the booking is responsible for the conduct of all members of their party and any damage caused by any member of their party will be paid for by the customer. The customer will be charged for clean up or repairs i.e. spillage stains, scratches to interior. CTTT’s reserve the right to choose from one of two quotes that will be obtained in these circumstances

Children can get very excited on the Tuk Tuk! It is the booking adult’s responsibility to keep children safe, seated and ensure they are strapped in using the seatbelts provided during all journeys

Passengers must at all times in the Tuk Tuk use the seat belts provided. If a customer or any member of their party chooses not to wear a seatbelt then CTTT’s will not be responsible for any injuries whatsoever

Customers will not smoke in the Tuk Tuk (this includes e-cigarettes)

Passengers must adhere to the signage in place in the Tuk Tuk

Passengers must keep all parts of the body inside of the Tuk Tuk at all times whilst travelling, failure to do this could lead to serious injury or loss of life

Every care is taken to maintain the Tuk Tuk’s safety and roadworthy condition, however in the unlikely event that the Tuk Tuk is checked by the driver and deemed non-roadworthy or fails to start/breaks down, then CTTT’s reserve the right to give a full refund

The nature of the Tuk Tuk is that it can be bumpy on uneven surfaces and because it doesn’t have quite the same suspension as a modern car. Anyone who has medical conditions such as a heart concern, high blood pressure, is of an anxious disposition or who is pregnant should seek the advice of a Doctor before arranging the booking. This list is not exhaustive

These terms and conditions override all others and CTTT's reserve the right to alter and amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice
