Cotswold Tuk Tuk Tours February 2019 Blog
Hello again and what a funny old month February is when you compare it to this time last year with all the snow and the ‘Beast from the East’. So what have we got to offer you this year you ask. Great news for Rick with the heater now fitted and really does take the chill off so the season has indeed started earlier than planned. Well the website has now been completely updated with what’s on offer and in summary - Weddings - After the experiences of last year we have now mad

It’s a wrap!!! We can say that the official 2018 season has come to an end and also that the 2019 season will begin earlier (March if the weather permits). The season finished on a rather windy and wet night at Cowley Manor with Rick transporting guests & traders to and from the car parks for a charity event. It’s great to see that Rick is started to being used in a promotional role as well as the tours and weddings. So many people have showed an interest in the Tuk whenever

Cotswold Tuk Tuk Tours July 2018 Blog
Let’s pause for a breath and try to relay to you all what happened in July. Cotswold Tuk Tuk Tours has broken all records and I really cannot believe the amount of jobs and enquiries that we have received during July. I won’t give a number but can I please give my utmost apology to all those people who I have had to turn down during the month due to already being booked. Looking ahead a similar pattern is emerging for August and we are completely booked out for most of August

So the 2018 Tuk Tuk season has started and what a month it’s been. As always with the British weather there’s no telling what each day will bring. I started with a full day tour on an extremely misty and foggy, but thankfully dry day on Wednesday April 11th with a lovely couple who had travelled all the way from North Shields for a 60th birthday celebration. Despite the weather it was a fantastic start to the year and it was complimented by a beautiful afternoon tea that was

Well it’s finally here! No, not spring, the 2018 Tuk Tuk season! One of my first tours includes an outing that combines a full day tour with Mrs D’s fantastic vintage afternoon tea. My customers are coming all the way from the north of England and are using the Tuk as part of a birthday celebration, and I’m not sure who’s more excited me or them! As I mentioned last month the Tuk now has had a brand new set of rain / wind covers so no matter what the weather throws at us this

Hello to all my faithful followers out there who continue to read this blog. I would like to say that spring has arrived but looking out of my window it’s a no no. The #beastfromtheeast is keeping the Tuk inside at the moment! However last weekend it had two trips out for prospective wedding couples. The thermometer was showing -2 degrees but we all still braved it without the covers. The blog is slightly late this month as I was waiting for the first fitting of the new cover

Well the season seems to have finally officially finished with the last trip out being on the 11th November and boy was it a chilly finish to the season. The end of October and early November turned out to be the busiest period of the year with the Tuk out four weekends in a row. The blankets have really come in handy and the last customers even brought their own hand warmers which they used in-between sitting in front of roaring log fires in their many pub visits! It’s been

Cotswold Tuk Tuk Tours September Blog
Hi again to you all, as the very first Tuk Tuk season draws to an end (or so I originally planned). When we first started out on this epic venture earlier this year the initial view was that it would quieten down after we went past August bank holiday. Well the exact opposite has happened - it seems that as we didn’t start till late June the word and our advertising is only just reaching our customers, and the bookings just keep coming in. On the website and the blog last mon

August Blog
Hello again to all my faithful ‘blog readers’ what a fantastic month it’s been in August (with the exception of the weather for most of the month). The flyers seem to have worked and the interest in the Tuk has been phenomenal. This has led onto us now having completed some real tours with customers and we have also started to receive feedback on Trip Advisor. This is a new thing to me but what feedback it is! It might not be many but (they are genuine) and have rated us 5* F

Hi again and what a great time of year it is, as the sun starts to poke through a little more often and the days start to get longer. I can now really start to feel the business starting to blossom in line with our lovely countryside. Hopefully some of you will have seen Rick out and about on his travels as he has been on several practice runs for the forthcoming Cream Tea Express. As well as this he has also been travelling between some of the locations that we have in mind
